GRAND PARK

TURNING UP THE VOLUME

CHALLENGE

Overshadowed by nearby tourist attraction Griffith Park (4,210 acres), LA's vibrant, 12-acre Grand Park was approaching a milestone event – its 10th anniversary. COVID had dramatically impacted park usage and Grand Park's owner, The Disney Music Center, was looking for ways to drive both internal and external brand excitement.

SOLUTION

Refresh Grand Park's brand with a newly designed logo inspired by the smooth curves and vibrant pink of the benches found all over the park. This included a celebratory tenth-anniversary version and the park’s first-ever brand style guide including photography and iconography. Later, Grand Park changed its name to Gloria Molina Grand Park and the foundational elements flexed once again. Angelenos and visitors rediscovered this treasure and the park is flourishing.
